Veterinary Technician by day.....
Melissa Dailey, a Dallas Texas native, is a veterinary technician working at Sherrill Veterinary Hospital in Coppell Texas sherrillvet.com for the past 10 years. Special interests in vet medicine include reproduction, pain management and behavior counseling. Melissa's obedience training started while she was in her early teens training the family pets by attending group classes. Family breeds included a Yorkie, German Shepherd and Springer Spaniel. Melissa's first dog to own and train as an adult was "Mocha" a Chesapeake Bay Retriever. Mocha and Melissa accomplished many awards competing in AKC obedience trails. It was through training Mocha, back in the late 1980s, that Melissa met Pam Martin. Melissa and Pam started training and showing their dogs together; eventually they started teaching classes in the early 1990's. In 1995, Melissa and Pam along with Lou Lehrmann formed Top Dog Racers a small competitive flyball team. Training for and competing in the sport of Flyball has been a passion since.
Most recently Melissa & Spy (Jack Russell Terrier) were chosen to be on Animal Planet's "Pet Star". Although they did not win they did wowed the judges and audience with an incredible act of balance and strength.

Verjean.lunenschloss@verizon.net
Verjean has been involved with dogs, literally, her whole life. Her father had Boxers and Cocker Spaniels when she was growing up, and she got her “own” dog at the age of seven. That dog, a little mixed breed…was to live until the age of nineteen and was her first experience in dog training!
Verjean has a varied background in dogs…having trained in Obedience, Schutzhund, Therapy, Field, and most currently, Conformation. She has experience with several breeds, having owned GSD’s, Shar-Pei, Bearded Collies, Old English Sheepdogs, Weimaraners, Rottweilers, Dobermans, Great Danes, and Chinese Pugs. She also coordinates Canine Good Citizen training for the Greater Collin Kennel Club, and is their Rescue Parade Coordinator. She is currently the President of the Great Dane Club of Greater Dallas, is a board member of the Trinity Valley Weimaraner Club, and an active member of the Greater Collin Kennel Club.
She most recently finished her Great Dane, completely owner handled. He is a multiple BOB winner, and Group placer. Verjean is a huge supporter of the owner/handler…and her goal is to bring more owner/handlers into the sport, and to help them be competitive and successful. Her skills with both dogs and people translate into confidence and knowledge in the show ring for those competing.
