TC Cappel   Garland, Tx    (972) 272-4462  tcemail1@verizon.net

T.C. (T. Cappel) was born and raised in South Louisiana, where she says "music and dancing are learned while still in the womb".  She lives by the "Girls Just Want to Have Fun" philosophy.  Her teaching techniques are geared toward having a good time and learning something in the process.

She took dance lessons early on in life and taught dance and choreography throughout her teens and on into her adulthood.  She's skilled in Jazz, Tap, Disco, Jazzercise and Belly Dancing.  T.C. is a Yoga practitioner, and don't be fooled by her petite size, she's also schooled in martial arts.

A Top Dog instructor T.C. teaches "Canine Freestyle" which is her favorite class where every Wedneday night she keeps dogs and handlers up on training floor and on their toes.  She is also our demonstrations coordinator working on projects big and small. T.C. is available for workshops and truly gives it her all when she is teaching.  Freestyle Handler's Movement is one of her specialties and can help add great new moves to your freestyle routine.  She has given freestyle workshops in Austin Texas, Arizona and Oklahoma.

T.C. loves nothing more than performing, she and her dogs have performed numerous freestyle demonstrations in the Dallas area.  In 2005 she performed Freestyle at the SAFE Animal Fair in Tucson, Arizona.  Last year July she and Shrek her newest pup performed "I'm a Believer" in front of a hugh crowd in Houston at the Reliant Dog Show.  This year Shrek & T.C. performed a country routine to "Black Horse and Cherry Tree" at Harlingen's Rio Fest for their 25th Anniversary.  Bringing the sport of Canine Freestyle to people who have never seen this is something very exciting and rewarding.

T.C. is a member of Heart of Texas Therapy Dogs and Therapy Dogs Inc.  Having completed well over 200 visits, she loves to entertain the people she visits with dog tricks and Freestyle performed
by her therapy dog, File'.
T.C. will help you and your dog to sharpen skills in Freestyle and
free-flowing body movement so that your performances are well integrated and
you appear to your audience to be working together as a real team.

Melissa Dailey, a Dallas Texas native, is a veterinary technician working at Sherrill Veterinary Hospital in Coppell Texas sherrillvet.com for the past 10 years.  Special interests in vet medicine include reproduction, pain management and behavior counseling.  Melissa's obedience training started while she was in her early teens training the family pets by attending group classes.  Family breeds included a Yorkie, German Shepherd and Springer Spaniel.  Melissa's first dog to own and train as an adult was "Mocha" a Chesapeake Bay Retriever.  Mocha and Melissa accomplished many awards competing in AKC obedience trails.  It was through training Mocha, back in the late 1980s, that Melissa met Pam Martin.  Melissa and Pam started training and showing their dogs together;  eventually they started teaching classes in the early 1990's.  In 1995,  Melissa and Pam along with Lou Lehrmann formed Top Dog Racers a small competitive flyball team.  Training for and competing in the sport of Flyball has been a passion since.

Most recently Melissa & Spy (Jack Russell Terrier) were chosen to be on Animal Planet's "Pet Star".  Although they did not win they did wowed the judges and audience with an incredible act of balance and strength.
